Executive Bodies of the Policy
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Responsible for ensuring implementation of the Diaspora policy as mandated by proclamations.
National Diaspora Council
Envisioned to include higher federal and regional officials and other stakeholders.
Advisory Council
Intended to comprise Ethiopian Diaspora participating in different fields in the country and in missions.
Regional Diaspora Offices
Expected to direct and coordinate diaspora participation at regional level.
Common Forum
A forum under the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is proposed to coordinate regional diaspora offices in an integrated, continuous, and accountable way.
Meeting and Monitoring Mechanisms
The policy page also calls for permanent meeting mechanisms for organized associations and monitoring and evaluation arrangements among implementing offices.
